SPECTRE   DRAGON   of   today   has   nothing,   or   little,   in   common   with   the   band   that used-and   published   under-that   name   in   the   years   1994   to   2007.   That   bunch changed   their   name   to   LOST   WORLD   ORDER   for   a   reason,   never   really   were SPECTRE     DRAGON     and     could     never     even     begin     to     understand     what Aethlexander   and   TÄT   intended   SPECTRE   DRAGON   to   be   when   they   founded   the band    in    1991.    After    serious    discussions    about    the    directions    of    musical development,    TÄT    left    the    band    in    1994,    followed    by    Aethlexander    being exploited    in    1998    by    the    other    members    when    they    decided    to    transform SPECTRE   DRAGON   into   a   generic   thrash   metal   band.      So   both   founders   put   their instruments of creation aside for more than two decades.

There   were   lifes   to   be   lived.   But   there   was   something   being unfinished.      Gnawing   in   the   back   of   their   minds.   Songs   to   be written.   Stories   to   be   told.   In   2015   they   both   felt   the   urge   to wake    the    grand    wyrm,    resurrect    and    further    develop    the music   and   the   story   that   the   first   two   demo   tapes   told.   The lyrics   inspired   by   the   "Geisterdrache"   novels   by   horror/fantasy author   Marc-Alastor   E.E.   and   the   music   breaking   boundaries of   the   ever   so   often   narrow-minded   classification   of   metal genres.   Let   there   be   speed,   let   there   be   power,   doom,   and thrash,    but    always    let    there    be    melody    and    heavyness    in Spectre   Dragon   songs.         As   on   the   first   1993   demotape   "Beyond   the   portal   they   said,   dwells   the   horned alphabet"    there    are    growls    and    clean    vocals    side    by    side    (invented    in    1991!).        History    repeats    itself SPECTRE DRAGON songs do not!  So call the dragonsworn! ...Time eats mankind at my well As I eat time at my farewell...
